Ich liebe es, wenn ein Plan funktioniert. Nordkap -- Norrköping in 28 Stunden, wenn es vorher noch keinen Rekord gab, der jetzt dürfte ziemlich schwierig zu toppen sein :D
In Nordvågen hat mich der Trucker wie besprochen mitgenommen, unklar war lediglich, wann der zweite Fahrer zusteigen würde. Es gab zwei Möglichkeiten, entweder 800 km vor Stockholm oder 300. Das eine hieße, ich stünde mitten in der Nacht auf einem verlassenem Parkplatz im nordschwedischen Wald, das andere, mittags auf einer vierlbefahrenen Raststätte mit Laden, Tankstelle, Restaurant, Werkstatt und Hotel. Es war das erste, aber nach einem kurzen Gespräch der Fahrer wurde mir angeboten, wenn es mir nichts ausmachen würde, die Nacht auf dem Sitz zu verbringen, könnte ich bis zur anderen Raststätte bleiben. Eigentlich verboten, es ging an einigen Kontrollplätzen vorbei und einmal musste sich einer der Fahrer unter einer Decke und Taschen verstecken, als ein Strerifenwagen vor uns war, aber es ging ohne Zwischenfälle (und quasi ohne Pausen, Fahrzeitbeschränkung scheint hier ein Fremdwort zu sein) 22 Stunden Richtung Süden und die Orte, an denen ich während meiner doch etwas längeren Anreise Station gemacht habe, sah ich diesmal lediglich als Schriftzug auf Autobahntafeln.
Fahrzeug Nummer zwei war irgendein älterer Kastenwagen mit einem Russen als Fahrer, der mit 23 quasi lediglich mit den Klamotten, die er trug, in Schweden ankam und jetzt, zwanzig Jahre später, durch Import, Export etc zu durchaus ansehlichem Wohlstand gebracht hat. Da Nikolei außerdem weitgereist ist, vorwiegend im asiatischen Raum, konnte er mir für das kommende Jahr gleich einige gute Ratschläge mitgeben. Falls sich jemand über Fahrzeug und Halter wundern sollte, es war nicht sein eigener Wagen. Nikoleis Schmuckstück ist eine BMW-Limosine, Neuwert 120.000€, gekauft für 5000, in bestem Zustand und stellenwertig gleich neben Frau und Kind.
Nummer drei waren ein Familienvater mit Tochter, die mich bis Norrköping gebracht haben und zum Abschluss hat mich ein älterer Schwede quasi direkt vor der Haustür der Gideonssons abgesetzt. Er war Hundebesitzer, alle irische Rassen und einer ist mir von der Rückbank sofort auf den Schoss gesprungen, und, wie ich im Gespräch mitbekommen habe, ziemlich rassistisch. Erst ging es über Politik, Wirtschaft und globale Probleme etc., hier habe ich noch mitgeredet, da er durchaus gebildet war und wir einige gemeinsame Standpunkte hatten, aber genug Differenzen, dass eine schöne Disskusion möglich war, aber als das Gespräch dann umschlug und ich gemerkt habe, dass ich ihn nicht mehr zurück auf vorherige Themen lenken konnte, wurde es ziemlich einseitig und am Ende war ich zwar dankbar dafür, dass er mich nach hier gebracht hat, sein Weg wäre auf halber Strecke bereits zu Ende gewesen, aber dennoch froh, das Auto wieder verlassen zu können.
Bei Therese steht es inzwischen zwei zu eins für mich, ich bin das zweite Mal unangemeldet aufgetaucht und konnte mich somit für letzten Sommer revanchieren (an Therese: =P), ich wurde herzlich empfangen und bin bis auf weiteres also erstmal wieder hier.
I love it, when a plan succeed. "If" would be grammatically correct, but "when" sounds much nicer in this case ;) North Cape -- Norrköping in 28 hours, if there was no record for this before, this one now should be very difficult to beat :D
In Nordvågen I left with the trucker, how the one the day before cleared it, only the place, where the second driver would add to rise was not sure. There were to possibilities, either 800 km in front of Stockholm or 300. The first would mean, I would have to leave the truck during the night somewhere at a lonley parking place in the forrest in the north of Sweden, the second at the moon at a place with lots of traffic, shops, gas station, restsurante, service station and hotel. It was the first, but the drivers had a talk and said, if it would be ok for me, to spend the night at the seat, I could stay until we arrive at the other place. Theoretically forbidden, we passed a few controlling places and one time a driver had to hid, when a police car was in front of the truck (he had to lay under a cover and a few bags), we went without any incidents -- and almost without breaks, driving time restiction seems to be an unknown thing in this area -- 22 hours to the south and the places where I spend the nights during my arriving I saw this time just as letterings at the high way signs.
The second vehicle was an older van with a russian driver, who arrived in Sweden just with his clothes when he was 23 and who is now, twenty years later, with import, export etc. thoroughly wealthy. Because Nikolei traveled a lot, most of the time in Asia, he was able to tell me usefull information for the following year. If anyone should wonder about car and driver, it wasn't his one. Nikolei's gem is a BMW limo, which costs new more about 120.000€, he bought it for around 5000, in best condition and providing vallue next to wife and daughter.
Number three were a father with his daughter, who brought me to Norrköping and at least a met an old man, who dropped me off directly in front of the house of the Gideonsson's. He had five dogs, all Irish, and one jumped at me just after I went into the car, and is, how I noticed during the conversation, very racist. First we talked about economy, politics and problems of the world, here I spoke, too, because he was thoroghly educated and we had a few times the same opinion, but often enough not, so it was a nice discussion, but when he changed the topics and it was not possible, to go back to earlier ones, it became very unilaterlly and at the end I was gratefull he brougt me to this place, he just had to go the half way, but very happy to leave the car.
With Therese it's now two to one for me, I arrivied the second time wihout I tell her before and was able to revenge for last summer (to Therese: =P), they received me very heartly and to further I'm here again.
